American Clay Primer Sand

Primer Sand is meant to be mixed with an approved paint primer and then rolled onto your wall. Once dry, the surface is left like a piece of sandpaper which creates tooth that aids American Clay plasters in properly adhering to the surface. Primer coverage will vary based on primer used - we recommend AFM's Transitional Primer.

Each 1 lb. package of Primer Sand is mixed into 1 gallon of paint primer. Coverage will vary depending on choice of primer (average coverage is between 200 to 250 square feet per gallon).
