Cast Iron Waffle Iron

If there was ever a good use for Teflon, it was waffle irons! But not even a fresh cooked waffle can get me to eat food coated in Teflon these days. My husband found me a great alternative - cast iron! It took me a little while to get it seasoned so the waffles would pop out easily, but it works really great now and we love it. Just heat it up on the stove, use a brush or oil sprayer to apply oil liberally and pour your batter in. Made by Rome Industries.
