Wool Puddle Pad - Crib
Protect your organic crib mattress with an untreated Wool Puddle Pad by PureRest. It's my favorite choice for protecting a crib mattress. This full size pad covers the entire mattress - no straps, just lie flat and put your fitted crib sheet over to hold it in place. The wool puddle pad has been prewashed so the fabric has a tighter weave to it which makes it more water resistant. It also is washable (cold water) which the mattress pad is not. Line dry or air fluff (no heat!). Wool is an amazing fiber which is naturally anti-bacterial - so washing often is not needed. Just let your puddle pad air out and odor and bacteria are gone within hours.
Our unique moisture pads are made from untreated wool from Pacific
Northwest free range sheep. The sheep are not treated with antibiotics
or hormones. They free range graze on lush fields that is not treated
with pesticides or herbicides. This pure wool is felted here in the
United States to create a perfect pad to resist liquids. Softer than
competitor wool pads so you don't get that itchy feeling. No treatments,
no plasticizers. You can
machine wash ours as we oversize them to
allow for the shrinkage. Hang dry indoors. Dries fast. Urine does not
grow bacteria on these, so only wash if soiled. Crib 28 x 52".

Organic Cotton Mattress Pad
An all organic cotton quilted mattress pad made by Coyuchi. It has a single layer organic cotton batting fill with a sateen top, percale underside, and fitted construction. (crib size has no sides, just lies flat) This mattress pad is washable.

organic cotton sandwiched between 2 layers of organic cotton knit.

Organic Dust Mite Barriers
Certified organic cotton dustmite barrier made by Pure-Rest has zippers on three sides for ease of use. It is a tightly woven 440 thread count fabric that has been heat pressed to tighten the fibers to a 6 micron opening (dust mites are 100 microns).
