The Rose Mattress

The Rose is an extra-firm innerspring organic mattress with a 660 coil count. It is our most economical organic mattress, and it is a great choice for growing children moving up from an organic crib mattress. The electrically neutral innersprings of the Rose organic mattress are covered with layers of organic cotton pads that are inner tufted to the springs. The result is then wrapped in layers of organic cotton and Pure Grow wool and quilted to a durable organic cotton ticking cover. This organic mattress goes with our 81 coil count boxspring, which is also covered in the same matching organic cotton ticking.

This mattress is very firm and does not contain as much cotton batting as the regular Organic Cotton and Wool mattress,
which does not cost much more. Although The Rose is a good budget
choice for kids, I tend to reccomend adults spend the extra for the Organic Cotton and Wool, unless they are particularly wanting a very firm bed.

This mattress is designed to be used with a boxspring, for best
performance, breathability and longest life. Using it without one will
invalidate the warranty. The Organic Cotton and Wool mattress, and the
Rose mattress are the only models that really highly recomend using a
boxspring. Please consider all other models if you do not plan to use
one. (Excellent choices - The Paradise, Natural Latex, or for those very budget minded the 4" Budget Latex) ***PureRest is now making an innerspring mattress that can be used without a boxspring called The Apollo.
