**** We do not advise a wood foundation unless you have an existing bedframe that requires a "boxspring style" support. We feel that our mattresses work better on a platform or slat style bed, with slats every 2-3" apart. This type of bedframe can actually cost less, and keep an extra piece of furniture from eventually ending up in a landfill. But IF you do have a bedframe that requires this type of support, then a wood foundation is what you would want for your mattress.

****These foundations are oversized and have additional ship charges. They require a ship quote when ordered without a mattress (or when ordered with a budget mattress, which ship by UPS wheras foundations go by freight which costs much more). Usually they cost a few hundred dollars to ship.
