UNTREATED WOOL MOISTURE PAD
Protect your mattress with pure wool! This moisture resistant mattress pad is designed to lay flat on the mattress and protect your mattress. Because it is wool that has been prewashed, the fibers are tight and provide great moisture protection while giving you all the benefits of wool (anti bacterial, regulates body temperature, repells dust mites). Straps help keep it in place. You can wash in cold water (no heat!!!) and block or line dry. A great washable alternative to the quilted mattress pad.
A wool moisture pad is the perfect mattress protection for those looking for moisture resistance in a natural, breathable form. People who choose these may have children sleeping in the bed or they might be "moist" sleepers. Wool is naturally anti-bacterial so washing is needed very infrequently. Most of the time, hanging it on a line to air out will get rid of any odors or bacteria. Wool regulates body temperature while you sleep and is also perfect for menopause. grow bacteria on these, so only wash if soiled.
To wash wool moisture pads, use COLD WATER and wool soap, which re-lanolizes the wool, keeping it water resistant.
