Organic means poison free. Pesticides are poison. Cotton uses more pesticides than any other crop (in fact, visitors to conventional cotton farms are frequently asked to wear a clean suit for safety). This is why we sell organic diapers, and it's why Tres Tria is made from 100% natural latex and a 100% organic cotton sateen cover.

Natural Rubber means no petroleum which is used in typical foam sleeping products. (Petroleum is not better for babies). The rubber element of Tres Tria is certified Natural Latex Rubber by the Eco Umwelt Institut. This means it really is natural rubber, complete with natural rubber's superior qualities - it's breathable and holds its shape over time.

Fair Trade means you are helping parents in India send their kids to school rather than to work in the fields. Fair Trade practices ensures that a decent wage is paid to farm workers with an additional premium for environmental and social projects.

Our cotton is certified organic and sustainable by Control Union Certifications. Beginning in 2007, it will be certified FairTrade by FLO (Fair Trade Labeling Organization).

Our rubber is certified all natural and additive-free by eco-Umweltinstitut.
